Your data, explained

Public is a choice.

My Screen Time Is Public collects daily foreground app durations from your Android phone after you enable tracking. Your account contains your email, display name, handle, timezone, and device identifier. Daily reports contain app names, packages, categories, and durations. We do not collect messages, screen contents, browsing history, or individual tap events.

What other people can see

Your profile begins unpublished. When you publish, anyone with the link can view the delayed totals, categories, and selected app names you enable. Total and category figures include activity from apps whose names you keep private. We ask search engines not to index profile pages. This does not prevent screenshots or copying.

Timing and accuracy

The default public date is yesterday in your account’s timezone. You can delay publication by 1 to 30 calendar days. Public history defaults to three calendar months ending on the latest eligible date; you can choose between one and twelve months in the app. Shortening the window hides older reports without deleting them. Changing sharing settings or delay affects the entire public view. Offline phones or Android background restrictions can delay uploads. The page distinguishes missing reports from zero reported use. Android retains detailed events for only a few days, so a new installation cannot recover months of past activity. Longer history grows from reports already saved on our server.

Controls and deletion

Pause publication to make your link unavailable. Pause tracking to stop new uploads. Deleting your account from the app or this website removes your account, sessions, and reports from the service. Previously copied public data cannot be recalled. Report data is not a verified productivity score and covers one Android phone. Uploaded reports remain in this development service until you delete your account.

Current release

This is the first development release. The server operator must supply its identity, support contact, retention and backup policy before a public launch.
